Will they look natural?
That’s the whole point. Modern PMU is designed for healed, natural results — brows that look like a slightly fuller, tidier version of your own.
Does it hurt?
Most clients describe it as a light scratching sensation at most. Topical numbing cream is applied before we start, and a secondary numbing agent is used throughout.
What if I’m nervous?
Almost everyone is nervous before their first PMU appointment. The consultation exists specifically so you can ask every question, see the studio, meet your artist properly, and decide in your own time.
How long is the healing process?
Brows look darker and more defined for the first week, then lighten significantly as the skin heals. The true healed result is visible at 4–6 weeks. A complimentary top-up at 6–8 weeks refines anything that needs adjusting.
I’ve had PMU before — can it be corrected?
Sometimes yes, sometimes the existing work needs to fade or be lightened first. This is exactly the kind of thing the consultation is designed to assess.
Is my skin suitable, even if it’s mature or oily?
Modern PMU techniques work well on a wide range of skin types, including mature and oily skin. The consultation includes a proper skin assessment so we can recommend the technique that will heal best for you.
How long does it last?
PMU typically lasts 12–18 months before a colour refresh is needed, depending on your skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, and aftercare.
